  • I don't like making people do too much.  It comes back to haunt you.  People are lonely.  They'll want you to stay.

Most people are generous.  Most people are good.  There are a few demonic ones who run/ruin everything.  They know how to gut the good.  In a perfect world, we would cage those people instead of having them cage us.

I'm determined to get my home.  Hand it over, slime balls.

  • @Colorsofthenight - That's one of the biggest deterrents for asking... or borrowing, rather. You don't want anyone to throw it up in your face. I think student loan scarred me. I don't want to borrow anything from anybody. Asking is different.

I like Amanda's concept because, like you said, people people have the capacity to be generous.
I wish higher education was like that.

  • @Jack_Hawksmoor - they are.  You can study on your own time.  Go to MIT's "free courses."

I try to be careful about what I learn because I never remember anything.  I don't want to remember useless facts.  Sometimes, I'm surprised by what I do remember, however.  I know that in 1001 Nights there are 4 locks on the glass case with the woman in it.  Just like, Stonehenge has 56 lunar cycles.

I'd give you my higher education voucher if I could.  I was in the military and get school.

It's absolutely pointless for me to use it or even to waste the government's money because I will never remember.  They tried to destroy my brain even more to steal my stuff because I said I wanted to go, but I was almost done with school anyway, like traditional school. They need me to go more than I do. They'll do anything they perceive as harming me though.

When I say I want to go to school, it means I want to take a class.
